With several referrals I contacted Will.  I needed to sell my house quickly and wanted to find the perfect home.  He took care of every detail to sell my home while I was traveling.  Once I returned Will and I spent months looking for the perfect home for me.  While I grew impatient and wanted to buy something to move into, Will insisted that the perfect home existed and insisted I kept looking.  Sure enough, two months later the perfect home came on the market and we both knew it was the house I was looking for.

Will was so patient with both of us…

In the worst possible seller’s market in recent history, we had an offer on our home in 7 days. Can you believe that? I still can’t believe it- 7 days and we were under contract.

Will then took us to view over 30 homes in several different neighborhoods in Virginia Beach. There was no pressure to put an offer down- in fact, he encouraged us to take our time and consider all options. This was far different from the experience we had the first time we had bought a home. He listened to all of our concerns, respected all of our family’s needs, and truly emphasized the importance of choosing the right neighborhood as well as the right home. He was so patient with both of us- and never tired of answering our many questions.

There was no time he wasn’t available to us- either by phone or email. Dacia was also available to show us homes and answer questions!

I love telling the story of how we sold our home in 7 days in this challenging seller’s market. People are very quick to tell me how “lucky” we were to do so. Was luck involved? Perhaps- I’m not really sure. What I do know, is that we would not have such a success story were it not for Will Layton. I don’t really believe in luck- I believe in people who make things happen. I believe in actions- not words. Will is a man of action, and a man who is completely passionate about what he does for a living. I guarantee he cared more for our personal satisfaction and happiness than any other agent we worked with. I can even quantify exactly how many thousands of dollars Will saved us through his recommendations during the selling/buying process. At every single junction during our negotiations Will was absolutely working in our best interests- something I don’t take for granted.
